Just yesterday we told you that Dan Aykroyd was talking about a possible sequel to Ghostbusters 3. He wouldn't give out the names of the writers but he did have this to say, "Well, y’know, two sharp young writers in Hollywood are purported to be writing the sequel, the third movie now. If I could interest Seth [Rogen] and Judd [Apatow] to be part of it, that would be an absolute dream."

Today Variety confirmed what Aykroyd was saying and upped him one by naming Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to put together a script. But this script is really something special. We aren't getting a remake.. Nope we are getting the real deal folks. According to the trade the script will reunite Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson!

This is what fans of the franchise have been dying to see. All of the actors of course are a little past their prime but I think this will create a very cool twist on the story. My only real concern is Bill Murray.. In my opinion he stopped being funny quite awhile ago. Hopefully he kicks it up a notch if everything goes well and we even get to that point.
